Lantern FOS3-5 / 6
A distinctive feature of the FOS3-5 / 6 lantern from the previously released lanterns & nbsp; is the use of a new board with microprocessor control, which allows using a more reliable button without latching, eliminating the mechanical potentiometer, realizing the smooth switching on of the lamp, protecting the battery from short circuit and polarity reversal. The enable (non-commit) button performs four functions:
- & nbsp; & nbsp; & nbsp; inclusion;
- & nbsp; & nbsp; & nbsp; dimming;
- & nbsp; & nbsp; & nbsp; switch to signal (flashing) mode;
- & nbsp ; & nbsp; & nbsp; shutdown.
Smooth switching on of the flashlight increases lamp life by 8 times, and the momentary button guarantees up to 100,000 actuations, instead of 2,000 latching buttons. Switching on, switching off, switching to signal mode, adjusting the intensity of light (brightness) using the power button in the following order:
- single click on the & nbsp; - & nbsp; turning the light on or off,
- & nbsp; long press on the button (2-3 seconds) turns on & nbsp; signal mode;
- long pressing the button and holding it while when the lamp is on - switch to the economical glow mode (the light intensity changes stepwise).
Structurally, the lantern consists of a turning headlight connected to a cylindrical & nbsp; body. & nbsp; The headlamp rotates about the horizontal axis at an angle of 120 degrees. Inside the cylindrical body there is a microprocessor & nbsp; an electronic board, which, in the event of a battery discharge, turns on & nbsp; warning signaling by 10-fold flashing of the lamp with a minute interval and subsequent protective & nbsp; disabling & nbsp; lantern. The body and headlight are made of durable & nbsp; & nbsp; plastic & nbsp; & nbsp; and can withstand impacts when dropped from a height of 2 m. & nbsp;
