The anemometer is designed to measure the average value of wind speed in ground conditions, designed for operation in areas with a temperate climate at temperatures from -40 to +45 degrees Celsius and 80% relative humidity at a temperature of +20 degrees. The operation of the anemometer is based on measuring the angular velocity of rotation of a three-cup meteorological turntable using an electric induction tachometer.
